School holiday adventure programs at the Australia Walkabout Wildlife Park where children can have fun outdoors interacting with the friendliest of Australia's wild animals at home in the bush, and learn something too!
EVERY DAY THROUGHOUT the school holidays there is a different activity every half an hour startiNG from 10am.
No need to prebook, we're open every day from 9am to 5pm.
Just some of the things to look forward to:
* Get painted up with natural ochre face-paint
* Try your hand at throwing a boomerang
* Go on�a bush walk with the rangers
* Get 'nose-to-nose' with real wild (but kid-friendly) kangaroos and emus in the bush
* Learn about bush tucker and try out Aboriginal medicine
* Pat a python
* Meet our koalas
* Lather up with bush soap that YOU make from native plants
Wet weather fun
If the weather turns wet, the adventure becomes even more exciting. Just dress the kids in their rain gear and come along anyway. A little bit of rain never stops the fun at Walkabout Park.
We recommend you bring
* The kids (and whoever else happens to be around)
* Sunscreen even if it is overcast (you might want to bring hats)
* Water bottles (or you can buy water or juice at the cafe)
* Closed shoes and long pants (so little tumbles don't hurt)
* Rain gear (if the weather looks dicey)
