Canberra Academy of Dramatic Art is Canberra's leading drama school. As well as our weekly, term-time programs, we have three summer programs in drama and acting on offer:

For ages 7-12 - Three-day Drama Workshops

Our three-day drama workshops are action-packed and major on fun! No previous experience in drama is necessary. You'll learn how to use scripts, improvise (make things up as you go along), tell stories, and develop your voice and movement skills. At the end of the three days you'll perform for family and friends and celebrate the fun you've had!

Program 1 - Wed 12th-Fri 14th January

Program 2 - Mon 31 Jan - Wed 2 Feb

Venue: Northside - Dynamic Dance Studio, Mitchell

For ages 12-17 - Five-day Acting Intensive

Want to try acting? Or perhaps you're already a drama buff? Whether you're new to acting or you've been performing for years, this five-day acting workshop is great fun and designed with you in mind. Work on scripts, learn about acting technique for stage and screen, improvise, enjoy drama games, and bring everything you've learned in a performance for family and friends on the last day.
