Head to the EQ these Easter School holidays for the fabulous and fun-filled Sun Herald Sydney Family Show. From Saturday 9 April to Tuesday 26 April on the EQ Showring, this free entry event will be an action packed show with fun activities the whole family can enjoy. It will open at 10am daily and finish at 6pm (Sun-Thurs) and 8pm (Fri-Sat and all public holidays). Major attractions of the show include the incredible 150 exhibitors, carnival rides, show bags, Mix 106.5 animal nursery, crocodile encounters, sheep dog displays, pig racing, geese fashion shows, musical stage shows, reptile displays plus a sports kickstart arena with a variety of special guests such as the Sydney Swans! There will also be plenty for the little ones to get involved in at the Kids' Competition Arena. Presented by the Ronald McDonald House Charities, the arena will stage countless competitions and activities such as Easter egg hunts, Easter egg painting, story telling, circus acts and juggling. There will be pony rides as well as mum and dad friendly camel rides! There will also be several different attractions throughout the show from an American Muscle Car display to a psychic and alternative fair. Another popular attraction will be The Sun Herald VIP tent, where you are able to meet your favourite sports or film star. The Sun-Herald VIP Tent will have special guests right throughout the show including Lazy Town, Sydney Swans, Scallywags & Sydney FC players. That's not all! Experience endless fun at the carnival ride area, where you will be spoilt for choice with over 30 rides that cater to all ages, including the New Water World pool, 12 metre high Dino Slide and the classic Carousel, Ferris Wheel and Dodgem Cars. Unlimited riders session passes can be pre-purchased online before 9 April - these passes are great value as you only pay a single price and ride as much you want for the entire session. There will also be discounted coupons available throughout the show, catering to everyone's budget.
